Host the film at your local theater.

Hosting your own theater event is simple.

  • Step 1:  Purchase a license for 1 public screening here. Your theater will have a preferred media format (either DCP or Blu-ray), you'll learn from them which you need after you purchase the license here.  Either way, within 48 hours of your purchasing the public screening license here, we will email you and ask which format your theater requires. If they require DCP, we mail that on a hard drive (the industry standard) via UPS with a tracking number and will require that you return it via mail with a tracking number immediately after your screening.

  • What does 1 Public License mean? It means you have a license to play The Baby Boomer Dilemma to one audience at one single showing. So if you plan to show the film in a theater at 2:00 pm on a Saturday, and again at 6:00 pm on a Saturday, you would need to purchase 2 licenses to do that.

  • We need at least 3 weeks' notice.  Prior to your event,  we need 3 to 4 weeks' notice so we can accommodate sending the DCP package or blu-ray for you to provide the theater on time.  You can purchase the license months before an event.  However, if you purchase only a week before the event, we may not have enough DCPs on hand to accommodate your needs.   You will find that the theater will want the DCP at least 5 business days prior to your event.  So please plan ahead.

  • Call any theater to rent time to screen The Baby Boomer Dilemma The film is rated PG by the MPA and qualified as a new theatrical release with theatrical distribution rights by Doug Orchard Films, LLC.  Your theater will charge a fee to rent the theater for a specific time.  You typically can arrange to speak before or after the show.  Your theater typically can provide you with a mic, table and even have pre-packaged popcorn and soda for your guests.  Your theater has many great options when you screen our movie so make sure you ask them to learn what services they can provide for a spectacular experience.

If you live in an area that does not have a viable theater option, you can use this license to screen the movie at your local park or some other venue of your choice.
